Intravenous (IV) magnesium sulfate (MgSO4) supplementation is common despite limited indications. Oral magnesium oxide (MgO) is an effective, lower-cost alternative. This project aimed to reduce IV MgSO4 use by 20% among the Internal Medicine (IM) service.
