“We share HHS’s goal of ensuring that clinical algorithms advance health equity and protect civil rights. Yet we are also keenly aware of the work necessary to achieve that goal. We highlight here three features of the proposed rule that limit the ability of any health system to comply with it, and offer recommendations to strengthen the proposed rule to prevent discrimination.”
