Please mark your calendar for one of PCCI’s most inspiring events of the year – the Sachs Summer Scholars Innovation Showcase. Join us in person on Wednesday, August 5, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Pegasus Park (with lunch to follow) to celebrate innovation in healthcare and data science.
Why Attend? This showcase is a unique opportunity to discover PCCI’s latest groundbreaking projects and AI applications through the eyes of our eight exceptional 2026 Sachs Summer Scholars. These talented interns have been working on high-impact projects that use data and AI to tackle real-world healthcare challenges in North Texas. You’ll hear how they are:
- Advancing patient care with predictive analytics – for example, building medication adherence logic that can be applied across multiple disease programs.
- Innovating in public health and AI – such as developing new tools for better suicide risk screening and mental-behavioral health insights into prevention models.
- Addressing social determinants of health – using data-driven insights to support proactive care and improve community well-being for personalized patient engagement and facilitate targeted follow up and continuity of care.
What to Expect: You’ll get an insider’s view of how PCCI is shaping the future of healthcare through innovation. The Sachs Summer Scholars program, named in memory of visionary healthcare leader Michael Sachs, is one of the top data science and technology internships in North Texas. It reflects PCCI’s commitment to mentoring the next generation of leaders in health technology and responsible AI. By attending, you’ll not only be inspired by these young innovators’ achievements but also have a chance to engage with PCCI’s experts and network with fellow leaders passionate about healthcare innovation.
