Aida Somun, MBA, PMP is the Chief Operating Officer at PCCI. As COO, Aida is responsible for leading the organization’s growth and managing relationships with PCCI partners, stakeholders, and customers. She also oversees development and ongoing support for PCCI’s provider and public-facing programs that are focused on leveraging responsible artificial intelligence applications designed to improve equity and serve vulnerable populations.

Aida has played a leading role in helping the organization streamline processes and create efficiencies that allow for increased innovative development with emerging programs. As COO, PCCI’s AI models have generated nearly 35 million AI-driven predictions, engaged more than 6.2 million patients, and identified 2.8 million residents as being high-risk.

Prior to joining PCCI, Aida served as a General Manager of Personal Inc., successfully launching a data encryption platform, later successfully acquired by top 10 lead innovation companies in the personal data control space. Aida led a core team of 40 software developers, quality assurance and ops engineers. Aida is a recipient of the Dallas Business Journal‘s 13th annual Women in Business Awards and in 2019 and 2020 she was named to the Commerce Department’s National Institute of Standards and Technology’s (NIST) Board of Examiners Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award. She also was honored as a Dallas Business Journal’s 2024 C-Suite Leaders Award Winner in the COO category.

AIDA’S LEADERSHIP

Aida leads PCCI’s Safety-Net Providers team. The Safety-Net Provider team enables care-delivery teams to intervene earlier, respond differently or prioritize engagement strategies. While impactful in all care delivery settings, our tools are specifically tailored to safety-net providers as they disproportionally offer services to underserved populations.
